Terms of Use

Quorum is a sports information and analysis service. For each fixture it shows three separate numbers: what bookmakers are pricing, what the Quorum statistical model estimates, and what the Quorum community thinks.

Quorum is not a bookmaker and does not accept bets. We do not:

• accept, place, settle or broker any wager;
• hold, receive or transfer money or any other funds on your behalf;
• process deposits or withdrawals;
• operate any account containing real money.

Any “units”, balances, streaks or returns shown in Quorum are simulated scorekeeping. They have no monetary value, cannot be redeemed, withdrawn or transferred, and are not a prize.

The Quorum model produces probability estimates from historical results and ratings. Estimates are frequently wrong. A probability is not a prediction of what will happen, and no number shown in Quorum is a recommendation to bet.

Where Quorum shows an “edge”, that is the arithmetic difference between our model and the market on a single outcome. It means the two disagree. It does not mean the model is right, and it does not mean a bet is more likely to win.

Nothing in Quorum is financial, investment, betting or legal advice. We are not licensed to give any of it. Decisions you take are your own.

Fixtures, results and odds come from third-party providers. They may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Quorum labels how current each fixture’s data is, and we ask you to take those labels seriously: an odds figure marked as delayed is not a live price, and you should check the bookmaker before relying on it.

Bookmaker odds are shown only where it is lawful to do so in the market this site serves, and only for operators licensed there. In New Zealand no bookmaker odds are shown at all.

Quorum carries advertising, and may contain links to licensed bookmakers for which we are paid a referral fee. Where a link is paid, it is disclosed at the point of the link.

A referral link is not an endorsement, and payment does not influence the model. The model runs on data and does not know which operators pay us.

You are responsible for activity on your account. You agree not to:

• use Quorum if you are under 18;
• scrape, bulk-download or resell the data or the model’s output;
• present Quorum’s numbers as betting advice or as a tipping service;
• post content that is unlawful, abusive, or that impersonates another person;
• attempt to disrupt the service or gain unauthorised access to it.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. You can close your account at any time.

You keep ownership of what you post. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it within Quorum and to show it in aggregate, for example as part of the community percentage on a fixture.

Quorum is provided on an “as is” basis. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, that data will be accurate, or that the model will be correct.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of Quorum, including losses from betting decisions, inaccurate data or unavailability of the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded, including under the [CONFIRM: NZ Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and/or Australian Consumer Law, per the operating entity and the markets served].

These terms are governed by the law of [JURISDICTION], and the courts of [JURISDICTION] have exclusive jurisdiction.

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use Quorum after a change means you accept the updated terms.
